MOBILE TYRES 247

Your tyre questions.

Useful details before arranging a visit.

Tyre changer and air lines ready inside the van for fitting tyres on site
What information should I have when I call?

Your location or Eircode, the vehicle make and model, and the full tyre size if you can read it safely. Tell us whether you need a replacement, have a puncture or are unsure.

Where can you fit a tyre?

Mobile tyre fitting happens where the vehicle is parked: a driveway, a workplace or a public car park, as long as there is safe, level space to work. Tell us about the spot when you call and we check it with you.

Can every puncture be repaired?

No. Puncture repair depends on where the damage is, how big it is and whether the tyre was driven flat. It has to be inspected first. If a repair is not safe, we explain the replacement options before any work.

Will you have my tyre in stock?

Availability depends on the size and specification. We confirm the suitable tyre and availability when you call.

How much will the job cost?

The quote depends on the tyre, vehicle, location and work required. Ask for the complete price before booking.

Can I book van tyres?

Yes, you can enquire about van tyres for one van or a small fleet. Have the load rating and full tyre details ready so the correct specification can be checked.

I have a flat tyre right now. What should I do?

Get yourself and any passengers to a safe place first. If you are on a motorway or anywhere with fast traffic, leave the car on the passenger side and stay behind the barrier. Then call with your location and tyre size, and we tell you what we can arrange for an emergency tyre replacement.

Do you deal with run-flat tyres?

You can call us about run-flat tyres. Have the tyre markings and the vehicle details ready, and tell us how far the car was driven after the pressure warning. Whether a run-flat can be repaired depends on the tyre maker and the damage.

My wheels have locking nuts. Does that matter?

Yes. Tell us before the visit and have the locking wheel nut key ready, usually in the glovebox or the spare wheel well. If the key is missing, say so when you call.

Do you cover my part of Dublin?

Call with your location or Eircode. We check coverage and availability for your particular enquiry.
